ABOUT US
The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is the oldest and largest independent association of physicians-in-training in the United States. AMSA members are medical students, pre-medical students, interns, residents, and practicing physicians. Founded in 1950, AMSA continues its commitment to improve medical training and the nation's health. When you join AMSA, you become part of a vital force of future physicians who believe that patients and health professionals are partners in the management of health care.
By being part of the AMSA UNLV chapter, you will have the chance to improve your knowledge of the medical field through our weekly/monthly volunteer events, various medical school orientations, free MCAT practice events to improve your score, and many more activities. Becoming an AMSA member is not only a joy, but also a privilege. We, as AMSA members, have unlimited opportunities to succeed in our health care careers.

Every semester, we have various medical school tours in Las Vegas exclusively for our members.
